Man in pickup fires gun at woman stopped at Winnipeg intersection

A woman was stopped in her car at a Winnipeg intersection on Monday when another driver pulled up and pointed a gun at her, police say.

A driver pulled up and pointed a gun at woman stopped in her car at a Winnipeg intersection on Monday, police say.

Police believe the woman's car was hit by a bullet at Regent Avenue and Lagimodiere Boulevard shortly before 2 a.m.

The woman sped off to the closest police station to report the incident but didn't believe the gun had been fired. But police looked over her car and believe it was struck by a bullet.

Police closed the intersection until about 6 a.m. to investigate. They are now looking for a man in an older-model pickup truck.
