6 Manitoba communities set warm weather records on Sunday

Many southern Manitoba communities could see record-breaking temperatures on Monday before cooler weather returns in the middle of the week.

Many southern Manitoba communities could see record-breaking temperatures on Monday before cooler weather returns for the middle of the week.

Winnipeg's record high for this day is 13.2 C, set last year. Monday's forecast predicts a high of 15 C.

The city was among several communities that set new records on Saturday but low cloud and fog moved in from North Dakota on Sunday, spoiling the party.
