The body of a 39-year-old Brandon man has been found after he was knocked into Lake Wahtopanah over the weekend.

The body of a 39-year-old Brandon man has been found after he was knocked into Lake Wahtopanah over the weekend.

The man was fishing by the Rivers Reservoir spillway on Saturday evening when a woman lost control of the ATV she was driving and crashed into him, knocking him into the water.

The 58-year-old woman was killed in the crash, and RCMP launched a search for the Brandon man.

His body was discovered about one and a half kilometres from the crash site on Monday.

RCMP officers are still investigating.
