RCMP are accusing two men of sexually assaulting a woman and threatening her life with a gun if she reported the crime to police.

Police say a woman on the Black River First Nation northeast of Winnipeg was held down by one man early Sunday morning while the other man attacked her.

One man, age 25, faces sexual assault, forcible confinement, uttering threats and firearms charges.

Police say officers seized three rifles, including a high-power hunting rifle with the stock and barrel sawed off.

Another man, age 41, is charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement.

Both men are being held in custody pending a court hearing in Winnipeg Tuesday.
