Prisoner dies at Stony Mountain
A 56-year-old man who spent most of his adult life in prison, has died at the Stony Mountain Institution, corrections officials say.
According to officials, Calvin Reginald Godfrey was found unresponsive on Friday and officers immediately performed CPR and called for an ambulance.
The inmate, however, could not be revived.
Officials added the man's death was not suspicious, however policy requires a follow-up review of the death.
Godfrey was in prison for a murder conviction, dating to 1982.
