Power restored after outage hits 1,000 Winnipeg customers
A power outage impacted about 1,000 customers in Winnipeg's St.Vital neighbourhood on Thursday morning.
The electricity went out in an area south of Bishop Grandin Boulevard, between St. Anne's Road and Dakota Street, at about 4:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Manitoba Hydro said the issue was in an underground feeder line.
It took some time for crews to locate the problem but power was restored just before 8 a.m.
