About 2,200 Manitoba Hydro customers were left without power in Winnipeg Monday afternoon.

Hydro said the outage affected homes in the Burrows Central area.

Crews also worked to repair outages in Stonewall, Man., and surrounding areas most of the afternoon.

A Hydro spokesperson did not have an estimate of when power would be restored to homes in the Burrows area, but said they hope to have the outages in Stonewall fixed by 6:30 p.m.
