Point Douglas stabbing victim ID'd as Jeffery Campbell
25-year-old man died after being stabbed in upper body on Monday
A man who died following a stabbing in Winnipeg's North Point Douglas neighbourhood on Monday has been identified as 25-year-old Jeffery Campbell.
Winnipeg police released Campbell's name on Tuesday morning. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
Police were called to a home in the 200 block of Austin Street North just after 5 a.m.
There, officers found a man suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. He was taken to hospital in critical condition, but he died later that day.
