A school bus carrying 15 kids was hit by a pickup truck Monday morning in Steinbach, Manitoba.
It happened at about 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Highway 52 and Rockwood Street in the city, located about 60 kilometres southeast of Winnipeg.
None of the kids on the bus, or the 73-year-old bus driver, was injured.
A 19-year-old man driving the truck, along with two passengers — a 31-year old man and 31-year-old woman — were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The passengers of the truck were not wearing seatbelts, RCMP said.
The bus was on Highway 52 when the driver made a u-turn across two lanes at Rockwood Street, according to RCMP. That's when it was hit by the truck.
The matter is still under investigation and there is no word on any possible charges.
