Olivia Clement made handmade polar bear figurines and sold them, raising $12,000 and donated the money to the World Wildlife Fund.

The girl, who loves polar bears, also wrote to Winnipeg's Assiniboine Park Zoo asking about the new Journey to Churchill exhibit and the care the animals received.

On Friday, Olivia and her mom were guests at the zoo. They were given a tour of the exhibit and met the four resident polar bears — Hudson, Storm, Kaska and Aurora.

Olivia will be back at the zoo again on Saturday, this time to sell her polar bear figurines and raise more money.
