A 19-year-old man is facing several charges after a group of youths was robbed at knifepoint.
According to the RCMP, four young people were skateboarding on Mountain Avenue in Neepawa on Thursday when the accused approached them with a knife.
The victims were threatened and asked to hand over their belongings and money.
The group told police there were two other youths with the accused.
Later, an officer spotted the 19-year-old walking in the town. After a short foot chase the man was arrested.
He has been charged with four counts of armed robbery, breach of probation, uttering threats to cause death and possession of a weapon.
Police said he had also been charged in an earlier robbery at a Neepawa grocery store.
He's scheduled to appear in a Brandon courtroom on Monday.
The other two youths were located the next day and arrested, but both were released without charges.
