First-degree murder charges have been stayed against a man who had been accused of ordering the stabbing death of his former girlfriend in Winnipeg.
Kaila Tran, 26, was stabbed in broad daylight in the parking lot near her St. Vital apartment building on June 20, 2012.
Drake David Mosleneko had been accused of arranging for Treyvonne Anthony Warner Willis, 20, to kill Tran.

Willis is still facing first-degree murder charges.
As police investigated the scene of the killing, Moslenko was caught on a CBC News camera walking around the area and talking on a cellphone.
He was arrested a few days later.
Moslenko has been out on bail since August 2012, under what a judge described as "very, very strict" conditions.
