The driver of a motorcycle died after a crash with a gravel truck just north of Winnipeg on Tuesday.

The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 7 and Highway 67, near the town of Stonewall.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured, police said.

The southbound lanes of Highway 7 remain closed to traffic, which is being rerouted along a service road.
