City of Winnipeg fogging crews will be back at work Saturday night after spraying a number of neighbourhoods last night, in spite of thunderstorms and hail that hit parts of Winnipeg late Friday.

Environment Canada's forecast for Winnipeg calls for a slight chance of showers overnight with the risk of a thunderstorm and south winds at 30 kilometers an hour. 

The city from Saturday at 9:30 p.m. to Sunday 6:30 a.m, weather permitting, crews will tackle areas in the south and west parts of the city including: 

  • Niakwa Place, Southdale, Southland Park, Symington Yards, The Mint
  • Island Lakes, Royalwood, Sage Creek
  • St. Vital Perimeter South
  • La Barriere, Parc La Salle, Perrault, Richmond Lakes, St. Norbert, Trappistes, Turnbull Drive
  • Agassiz, Cloutier Drive, Fort Richmond, Montcalm, University​
  • Fairfield Park, Richmond West, Waverley West, Waverley Heights, Bridgwater Centre, Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Lakes, Bridgwater Trails, South Pointe
