Two more men have been arrested in connection with a 2006 shooting that killed a man in Winnipeg's North End.

The men, aged 36 and 50, were arrested on Monday in downtown Winnipeg and Winnipegosis, Man., respectively.

Both have been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder in relation to the death of Steven Pelletier.

Pelletier, 29, was forced into a home in the 500 block of Magnus Avenue in October 2006. He was beaten then shot.

Pelletier died, and his body was dumped at a secluded area outside Winnipeg.

Last month, Winnipeg police charged Darrel Lavallee, 32, with second-degree murder in Pelletier's death.

Police allege that the two men, along with "other associates," helped Lavallee remove Pelletier's body from the home and transport it to the secluded area.
