McPhillips crash involving Winnipeg Transit bus sends 2 to hospital

Traffic was brought to a standstill and two people were taken to hospital after a crash in Winnipeg on Monday morning.

Traffic was brought to a standstill and two people were taken to hospital after a crash in Winnipeg on Monday morning.

Several vehicles, including a Winnipeg Transit bus, collided near the corner of McPhillips Street and Mountain Avenue at around 7 a.m. CT.

Police said two people were sent to hospital in stable condition.

Southbound traffic on McPhillips was backed up but has since been cleared.

It isn't yet clear what caused the crash.
