Manitobans get small break on natural gas prices
Residential Manitobans to save around $7 on average per year
Manitobans are getting a small break on their natural gas bills.
The province's Public Utilities Board has approved a Centra Gas application to decrease the rate for primary gas sold to its customers, effective Aug. 1.
The reduction means the average residential customer will pay about seven dollars less a year.
Customers with fixed-term, fixed-price contracts with either Centra or a private broker are not affected.
