On June 26 Manitoba will release a series of new cottage lots for sale to the public.

The province announced Thursday that 126 lots in subdivisions would be put on the market for purchase or lease with their First Come, First Served Cottage Lot Program.

Among the lots, 49 lakefront, nine “lake-view” and 23 provincial park properties will be on offer next week.

Manitobans can apply for one of the lots at 200 Saulteaux Cres. on June 26 in Winnipeg or by mail starting July 10.

More information can be found on the province's website.

As many as 142 lots have been sold or leased since the program started in 2009.
