2 power outages planned in central Winnipeg for Wednesday
Manitoba Hydro customers in parts of Osborne Village and the east Exchange District will be temporarily without electricity on Wednesday as crews conduct maintenance work.
There is a planned outage from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., affecting about 60 customers between Jessie and Warsaw avenues, from Daly Street N. to Hugo Street N., the public power utility said.

Another power outage is planned for 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday from Rupert Avenue at Amy Street South to Lombard Avenue at Rorie Street, from Waterfront Drive west to Main Street, so crews can install a new hydro pole in the area.
About 261 customers will be affected by the evening outage, Manitoba Hydro said.

Elsewhere in Winnipeg, there will be a brief power outage on Sunday between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. in an area between Manhattan Avenue S. to Nairn Avenue, from Stapleton Street west to Gateway Road, Hydro said.
