Man wanted in connection to Winnipeg stabbing

Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing.

Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing.

A 31-year-old man was critically injured when he was stabbed on Sept. 1 near Jarvis Avenue and McKenzie Street, in the city's North End neighbourhood.

He was rushed to hospital and later upgraded to stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing and police have issued security surveillance images of a man wanted for questioning.

Anyone with information about the man's identity is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2848 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
