A man has been taken to hospital with unknown injuries Saturday, after Winnipeg police responded to reports of a fire at the Holiday Towers apartment building at 160 Hargrave St.

Police said they are now investigating a "suspicious" incident.

The fire resulted in nearly $10,000 in damages, Winnipeg police said.
