One man is recovering in hospital and another is in police custody after a stabbing in Winnipeg.
According to police, a 50-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the upper body on Monday evening.
It happened in the 600 block of Balmoral Street at about 5:30 p.m. CT.
A 49-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault.
The two men were drinking alcohol at an apartment suite when they began arguing. The 49-year-old pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim, police said.
The 50-year-old fled the suite and flagged down some patrolling officers who then arrested the suspect.
The 49-year-old has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
