A group of six people, including four teens, are facing multiple charges after an attack on a 43-year-old man in Winnipeg’s Burrows neighbourhood.

Police said a man was walking near Aberdeen Avenue and Battery Street around 1:30 a.m. Saturday when a group of six people wearing masks robbed and beat him.

Officers were called to the scene and with the help of the canine unit located a number of suspects in the 900 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

Six people were arrested at the home, and all are facing charges of robbery and disguise with intent.

Among those charged are a 15-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy, and four men aged between 18 and 20.

All but one suspect has been released on a promise to appear.
