Man hurt after Winnipeg house targeted in shooting

A man was treated for minor injuries after shots were fired into a home in Winnipeg on Thursday.

A man was treated for minor injuries after shots were fired into a home in Winnipeg on Thursday.

Police were called to the home in the 600 block of Magnus Avenue at about 3 a.m. Shots were fired into the back of the house, hitting a window and door, police said.

Six or seven people were home at the time and it's unclear if the person who was injured was hit by a pellet or shrapnel, police said.

The incident is still under investigation.
