Man dies in highway crash north of Winnipeg
A 48-year-old man is dead after his pickup truck was hit by a semi-trailer in the Rural Municipality of Rosser, Manitoba.
It happened just after 10:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Highway 6 and Provincial Road 236, according to RCMP.
The pickup truck was on PR 236 and ignored a stop sign at Highway 6, where it was struck by the semi.
The 48-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The 47-year-old man who was driving the semi received minor injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, RCMP said.
