A man has died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a van on the Trans-Canada Highway near Brandon, Man., this afternoon.
Emergency crews were called at around 3 p.m. Friday to Highway 1 at the intersection of Highway 270.
According to RCMP, it appears the motorcycle was heading westbound on the Trans-Canada when it collided with a van that was southbound on Highway 270.
Two people were on the motorcycle and were transported to hospital. The man was pronounced dead, according to police, who did not release his name.
RCMP said a woman who was on the motorcycle has serious but undetermined injuries, and a man who was driving the van has undetermined injuries.
One westbound lane of the Trans-Canada remains closed as of 5 p.m. as RCMP investigate the incident.
