The Ontario Provincial Police are looking into the death of a man who was found seriously injured outside a hotel in Kenora, Ont. early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the Best Western Lakeside Inn after a complaint that some people staying at the hotel were causing a disturbance at about 3:45 a.m.

When officers arrived they found a man lying on the street and noticed a window on the fourth floor of the building was broken.

The man was taken to Lake of the Woods district Hospital where he died of his injuries.

OPP are not releasing his name until his family has been notified.

The forensic identification and crime units have been called to help out with the investigation.

Kenora is located about 65 kilometres east of the Manitoba border.
