Island Lake RCMP said officers intercepted a man on a commercial flight from Winnipeg to Red Sucker Lake on Sunday.
The man was allegedly carrying 128 grams of marijuana and more than 300 prescription pills, as well as drug distribution equipment.
Police estimate the value of the drugs as being more than $3,000.
The suspect, who is from the Rural Municipality of Hanover, faces a number of drug and trafficking-related charges. He has been remanded and is to appear in court Tuesday.
