Man arrested in crash that critically injured Winnipeg boy
A 50-year-old man is facing charges in connection to a crash involving a teen boy near a Winnipeg school.
The crash happened April 28, just before 9 a.m. at Grosvenor Avenue and Wilton Street.
The boy was walking through an intersection controlled by a four-way stop when he was hit by an SUV that didn't stop at the corner.
He was rushed to hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the SUV was arrested on Canada Day and is facing a charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
He was released from custody on promise to appear in court.
