A Winnipeg businessman accused of taking a chainsaw to a strip club in St. Boniface is now out on bail.

A Winnipeg businessman accused of taking a chainsaw to a strip club in St. Boniface is now out on bail.

Ray Rybachuk was arrested last Thursday after bathrooms at Teasers were smashed and a chainsaw was used to cut a hole in the roof.

Rybachuk, who has a lengthy criminal past including multiple convictions fordrug trafficking, money laundering, assault and obstructing justice, was charged with uttering threats and mischief.

Now, he is back in the community, but has been ordered to stay away from the strip club, its staff and the business’ co-owner.

Rybachuk himself owns the building and co-owns the business.
