Man, 66, killed after trucks collide in southern Manitoba
RCMP investigating fatal crash near Baldur, Manitoba
A 66-year-old man is dead after a crash near Baldur, Man.
RCMP said the man was driving a pick-up truck down Government Road just before 5 p.m. when he tried to pass a gravel truck.
As he was passing, the pickup hit the gravel truck and rolled.
The 66-year-old driver, from the RM of Argyle, Man., was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said his 65-year-old passenger, also from Argyle, was rushed to a Winnipeg Hospital.
He is now in stable condition.
The 71-year-old gravel truck driver wasn’t injured.
Officers are still investigating, but RCMP do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
