Man, 31, critically injured in William Whyte area shooting

A 31-year-old man was rushed to hospital in critical condition after being shot in Winnipeg’s William Whyte neighbourhood.

The man was outside a home on Manitoba Avenue around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday morning when he was shot, according to police.

The suspect took off and emergency crews rushed the victim to hospital in critical condition, police said.

He has since been upgraded to stable condition, but so far, no arrests have been made in his shooting.
