Man, 27, shot on Lake Manitoba First Nation
A 27-year-old man from Lake Manitoba First Nation is recovering in hospital from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
RCMP were called to the shooting just after 7 p.m. Tuesday. By the time they arrived, the suspect had fled the scene on an ATV, police said.
RCMP used trucks and ATVs to follow the suspect and arrested a 41-year-old man from the reserve. He is facing charges related to fleeing from police, impaired operation of a vehicle, and possession of marijuana.
Charges related to the shooting are still being determined, police said.
