Man, 20, charged in shooting death on Manitoba reserve
Woman found shot to death in Tataskweyak Cree Nation home on Tuesday
A 20-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after a woman was shot to death on a northern Manitoba reserve earlier this week.
RCMP responded to reports of gunshots in a home on Tataskweyak Cree Nation on Tuesday. There they found Annette Freda Beardy-Spence, shot to death inside.
Craig John George Flett was arrested at the time and is now facing a charge of second degree murder.
Flett appeared in a Thomspon court on Thursday.
Tataskweyak Cree Nation is located about 900 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
