After four straight losses, three of which were at home, the Jets were able to handedly beat Arizona 5-2 Tuesday night at the MTS Centre. The victory was the Jets last game before the All-star break, and the win sends the team into their time off on a much needed high note.

Questionable heading into Tuesday nights game, Bryan Little did lace up his skates for the club, on a line with Andrew Ladd and Drew Stafford. It was rookie Nikolaj Ehlers on a new line with Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele. Scheifele was back after missing seven games with a lower body injury. The new top line combined for seven points and Ehlers scored his first hat trick of his short NHL career.

After the game head coach Paul Maurice said that Ehlers has impressive hands and that the speed of that new line with Scheifele, Wheeler and Ehlers was able to draw a few penalties. Maurice also liked the look of that line but wants to see how it will fair against different competition after the break.

Rookie Nikolaj Ehlers said his first multi point game and career hat trick felt great but that the win was more important.
Winger Blake Wheeler emphasized how important the win is to head into the break with momentum.

Dustin Byfuglien explains his goal from the red line, where he caught Arizona goalie Louis Dominque cheating his net to what he thought was going to be a dump in from Byfuglien.
