The Winnipeg Jets' losing skid has now stretched to six games, following a 4-2 loss to the New York Rangers at the MTS Centre on Friday night.
The match began with an eventful first frame in which both teams scored a combined four goals within the first 12 minutes of play.
The Rangers' Benoit Pouliot opened up scoring just 75 seconds into the game, assisted by Klein and Brad Richards.
The Jets answered just over a minute later with a goal by Dustin Byfuglien, who scored a snap shot assisted by Blake Wheeler and Tobias Enstrom.
That was followed less than a minute later by a wrist shot from Jets captain Andrew Ladd, assisted by Bryan Little and Michael Frolik.
However, Chris Kreider of the Rangers responded a wrist shot at 11:28 in the first, assisted by Derek Stepan and Dan Girardi, to tie the game up at 2-2.
The Rangers' Carl Hagelin scored 19:53 into the second period with a backhand shot, assisted by Martin St. Louis and Kevin Klein.
