The Jets, who struggled on the road last season, have now won their past three games away from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg.

Blake Wheeler notched two goals and Andrew Ladd tallied a goal and two assists in the Jets' 4-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday.

Evander Kane scored the other goal for Winnipeg.

Jiri Tlutsy scored twice for Carolina while Jordan Staal also scored for the Hurricanes, who have lost two in a row after a 5-0-1 run.
