Hundreds of people protested at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights Saturday, calling for an end to the violence in Gaza.
It was the second rally in Winnipeg in the last week organized by the Canadian Palestinian Association of Manitoba.
A demonstration on the steps of the Manitoba Legislature on Monday attracted hundreds of people as well.
The rally Saturday, part of a global day of protest, was to condemn the impact Israel's campaign against Hamas militants in Gaza is having on Palestinians.
Michael Kanon was one of those who showed up at the event outside the soon-to-open museum in Winnipeg.
"Living in peace and kindness is the ideal message we want to spread," he said. "For all people."
A rally in support of Israel is planned for Monday evening at the Rady Jewish Community Centre at 123 Doncaster Street.
