Holiday Towers victim suffered upper body injuries, police say

A man who died in a suite at the Holiday Towers apartments on Saturday suffered upper body injuries, Winnipeg police said.

Police were called to a suite on the 14th floor of the apartment building Saturday morning at 160 Hargrave St. to investigate a fire.

The man was found at the scene and taken to hospital, where he later died of his injuries. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.

The fire caused an estimated $10,000 in damages, police said.
