Henderson Highway house fire causes $300K in damage

Four people have escaped a house fire Thursday afternoon that caused an estimated $300,000 in damage.

Four people have escaped a house fire Thursday afternoon that caused an estimated $300,000 in damage.

Fire crews were called to the 800 block of Henderson Highway just before 5 p.m.

No injuries were reported, according to fire officials, but the entire house was damaged as the fire had spread to all floors.

Officials say the fire caused about $200,000 in damages to the structure and $100,000 to the contents.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
