Hazardous marijuana grow-op dismantled in McCreary, Man. RCMP say
The fire commissioner's office deemed electrical wiring to be 'substandard' in the grow operation
RCMP from Manitoba's Ste. Rose du Lac dismantled a "hazardous" marijuana grow operation in McCreary, Man. on Thursday night.
Officers found 168 marijuana plants and a small amount of cut and dried pot, RCMP say. A 52-year-old McCreary man was arrested and charged with growing the drug.
The fire commissioner's office also attended since the electrical wiring for the grow equipment was "found to be substandard and hazardous to the occupants of the residence," according to RCMP.
The man was released and will appear in Dauphin, Man. court in March.
