A 16-year-old girl in Steinbach, Manitoba, was forced into a vehicle, threatened and sexually assaulted, according to RCMP.

It happened April 13, during the early morning hours, police said. The girl was walking down Main Street when she was approached by a man in a black SUV.

After a brief discussion, the man forced the girl to get into the SUV then pulled out a weapon and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The girl was able to free herself after a period of time and got away.

The suspect is described as about six feet tall with dark hair that is thinning in the middle and long at the sides. He had a slight beard, was missing a tooth and was wearing jeans, a black hoodie and black gloves.
