The family of a seven-year-old Manitoba girl who died in March after being attacked by dogs, is trying to fulfill one of her dreams.

Gracie Herntier loved everything to do with performing arts so last year, she held a garage sale to raise money for the music program at St. Andrews School. She was able to donate $605.

Her mom Ana Herntier said Gracie was already planning this year's garage sale with the goal of raising at least $606.

Herntier, along with her husband, Tony, and with plenty of community support, are hosting a two-day garage sale this weekend with that goal in mind.

The sale will take place rain or shine (they have tents) at 15 Schreyer Crescent in St. Andrews. In addition to the many treasures donated by community members,Herntier said there will be hot dogs and hamburgers available.

The time of the sale is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 31 and June 1.
