Police and fire officials are investigating two separate fires that put a youth in the hospital and destroyed a home and two cottages on Saturday.
The latest happened on Willow Island in the Rural Municipality of Gimli at about 2 p.m.
Police said flames from one cottage spread to another nearby property.
No one was hurt, but both structures are considered to be total losses.
The earlier fire happened at a home on 6th Avenue in Dauphin at about 12:45 p.m.
Four people were in the house at the time the flames broke out. Three of them managed to escape without being injured, but one male youth was rushed to hospital.
His condition has not been released.
The home was destroyed.
There is no word on the cause of either fire, nor have damage estimates been released.
