One person was taken to hospital after a house fire early Monday morning in Winnipeg's North End.
It started just after 1 a.m. in one house on the 700 block of Aberdeen Avenue then spread to a neighbouring house.
Fire officials said a tenant in the first house suffered burns and is in unstable condition in hospital.
A firefighter also suffered minor burns.
Damage to the first house is estimated at $80,000 while damage to the second house is $250,000.
Police said the fire was accidental but have not yet said how it started.
