Fire destroys church in northern Manitoba
A church in northern Manitoba has been destroyed in a fire that police say was deliberately set.
RCMP in Lynn Lake the community's Anglican church was fully ablaze when they and other emergency officials arrived on the scene Monday morning.
They say the church could not be saved.
The estimated damage is in excess of $200,000.
Police say there were several other fires in the area as well that have been deemed to be arsons.
Those fires caused minimal damage, RCMP said.
