Edmonton man dies in semi-crash in Manitoba
A 37-year-old man is dead after the semi-trailer he was driving went off the highway and rolled onto its side in western Manitoba.
It happened on Highway 16, about 25 kilometres west of Shoal Lake, just before 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to RCMP.
The man is from Edmonton but his name has not been released. He was not wearing a seatbelt, police said.
An autopsy has been ordered and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
The semi was hauling a crane at the time, police said.
