Drunken argument leads to Winnipeg stabbing
Police have charged a 38-year-old man with aggravated assault after another man in his 30s was stabbed early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to an apartment suite in the 200 block of Midwinter Avenue at about 7:20 a.m.
Police said two men who knew each other had been drinking when they got into an argument.
One of the men took out a weapon and a 32-year-old man was stabbed.
He was rushed to hospital in critical condition, but his condition has now been upgraded to stable.
The 38-year-old man fled the scene, but was tracked down by police a short time later.
He remains in custody.
