Trans-Canada reopened through Whiteshell Provincial Park

Dicey driving conditions had prompted the closure of part of the Trans-Canada Highway in eastern Manitoba but it is now open again.

The 15-kilometre stretch that was closed went from Falcon Lake to the Ontario border.

The highway in that area was packed with snow and ice.
