Driver in Winnipeg rollover in stable condition, police say

Family of cyclists narrowly avoids being hit by semi Saturday

The driver in a semi rollover in Winnipeg Saturday is in stable condition after the truck he was in flipped at the Chief Peguis Trail and Lagimodiere Boulevard intersection.

A semi carrying two water tanks rolled Saturday, narrowly missing a family of cyclists.

Water in the truck's tank spilled onto the road, splashing the cyclists.

The family was treated by paramedics on the scene and released.

The driver was taken to hospital in unstable condition but has since stabilized.
